The State of Emotion is a multidisciplinary creative studio that collaborates with organizations to craft visual solutions for the interplay of words and ideas. We implement conceptual design, art direction, and typesetting to produce covers, books, identity systems, data visualizations, and digital assets.Our award-winning work has been recognized by Design Observer, Communication Arts magazine, PRINT magazine, the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), the Association of University Presses (AUPresses), and the Book Industry Guild of New York.
